Hayoung Moon, 24, is a Research Assistant at the Firm.

Education

Hayoung is an incoming J.D. candidate at Harvard Law School, Class of 2029. Hayoung completed his undergraduate education from Harvard University with High Honors in Economics in 2023. He recently received his Master of Musical Arts (M.M.A.) from the Yale School of Music in Cello Performance in 2026, being awarded the Aldo Parisot Prize for a gifted cellist who shows promise for a concert career.

Experience

At Harvard, Hayoung’s primary academic research has centered around Corporate Reorganizations and Bankruptcies, working hand-in-hand with Nobel-Prize winning economist Oliver Hart and Harvard Law School Professor Jared Ellias. His thesis on coercive distressed debt exchanges was awarded summa cum laude, the highest academic distinction at Harvard.

Interests

In his free time, Hayoung’s interests include playing chamber music with friends, reading novels, playing poker, and keeping up with sports analytics.
